The different technologies for reading handhelds
CCD reader
More economical than laser or imager scanners, CCDD scanners can read all linear barcodes and sometimes stacked barcodes.
Laser Reader
Like CDD readers, laser scanners read barcodes automatically and allow long distance reading even on moving objects.
Imager reader
The Imager reader handhelds use a 2D CCD sensor capable of reading all 1D and 2D barcodes (DATAMATRIX, QR code...)
