The composite black created by the HID FARGO INK1000 printer allows for the faithful reproduction of the most complex characters, such as those of Arabic and Cyrillic, as well as kanji.
Easy to install, the snap-in cartridge contains specially formulated inks that adhere naturally to standard PVC and composite cards. And because these inks are inherently UV stable, images and text are more resistant to fading.
Depending on the model used, a single ink cartridge can create many more cards at a fraction of the cost of printing ribbons (250-1,300 cards per cartridge). The HID FARGO INK1000 printer is equipped with a handy ink level estimation tool that calculates the number of cards that can be printed per cartridge based on the design/image of the model.
